Moonlight Japanese Hydrangea Vine has heart-shaped leaves washed with silver between dark green veins. The contrasting pattern gives the climbing foliage a distinct presence even before the summer flowers open.
Large, white lacecap flower clusters are surrounded by pale bracts. Orange-red fall foliage adds another seasonal change before the leaves drop. Give this vigorous-looking vertical accent enough room to develop on its support.
The vine can be grown in sun or partial shade and is especially useful for brightening a shaded wall. Its climbing height makes it better suited to a substantial support than a small decorative stake.
