October Daphne Stonecrop forms a low mound of spreading stems with rounded blue-green leaves. Fine pink edges outline the foliage and become more noticeable during summer.
Small clusters of bright pink flowers appear at the stem tips in early autumn. The leaves can turn pink, red, orange, and yellow at the same time, creating a colorful late-season display.
Choose full sun and avoid overly rich soil. This drought-tolerant perennial is useful at a border edge, in a container, or among stones where its stems can spread.
