Blue Spruce Sedum forms a low carpet of fleshy blue foliage, with short, pointed leaves that resemble miniature conifer needles. The mat spreads quickly and remains evergreen in warmer climates.

Yellow flowers rise on pinkish stems in summer, adding a bright contrast above the blue foliage. The leafy mat is about 3–6 inches high; flowering stems can reach roughly 10 inches.

Give it full sun and average to dry soil with reliable drainage. Avoid wet soil. Its small scale works well at a path edge, over a rock wall or in a container.
