Spirea bumalda Flaming Mound

Flaming Mound Spirea

Flaming Mound is a small spirea with a dense, rounded shape. New leaves emerge bright red, change to yellow and mature toward soft green. Dark pink flowers add summer color, with bloom extending later in the season in suitable conditions.

Grow in sun or partial shade. Butterflies visit the flowers, and the grower lists it as less attractive to deer.
