Spirea japonica 'Golden Elf'
'Golden Elf' Spirea
Golden Elf is a dwarf, spreading deciduous spirea with small golden leaves. Pink flower clusters appear from late spring into summer. The foliage keeps its golden color into autumn.
Grow in sun or partial sun with well-drained soil. Its low size suits containers, border edges and small foundation plantings. Removing faded flowers can encourage another display; prune as needed in winter or early spring.
