Spirea japonica 'Magic Carpet'

Magic Carpet Japanese Spirea

Magic Carpet Spirea (Spiraea japonica ‘Walbuma’) makes a colorful, spreading shrub. Fresh leaves show orange-red or purplish tones, then mature toward yellow-gold with touches of red.

Dark pink summer flowers contrast with the bright foliage. Use it in a low border or a grouped planting where the changing leaf colors can be seen together.
