Spirea japonica 'Shirobana'
Shirobana Japanese Spirea
Shirobana Japanese Spirea is grown for a summer flower display with more than one color on the same shrub. White and deep pink blooms may appear in separate clusters or together within one cluster, creating small changes in the display from branch to branch.
Dark green, narrow leaves form a quiet background beneath the flowers. Its low, rounded outline is well suited to the front of a mixed planting, where the contrasting bloom colors are easy to appreciate.
Plant in sun or light shade, in soil that retains some moisture but drains freely. This adaptable shrub fits readily among perennials and other flowering shrubs.
