Syringa vulgaris Monge

Monge Lilac

Monge French Lilac produces dense, upright flower clusters in a rich purple shade. Their fragrance and concentrated color make a strong late-spring feature.

Broad, oval green leaves cover an upright shrub that spreads as it develops. Give it room in a mixed border or use its flowering branches as a seasonal focal point.

Grow in sun with fertile, well-drained soil that is neutral to alkaline. Leave adequate space for the branching structure.
