Repandens English Yew (Taxus baccata ‘Repandens’) spreads into a broad, low evergreen planting. Glossy, dark needles clothe the branches, whose drooping tips soften the outline.

It can extend over a retaining wall or fill a wide space beneath taller planting. Allow ample room: its eventual spread is much greater than its height, and some forms in cultivation become more upright with age.
