Rochebrunianum Meadow Rue adds height without creating a heavy wall of foliage. Its slender stems carry blue-green leaves and branching sprays of small lavender flowers, each accented by pale yellow stamens.
The flower display arrives late in the growing season, bringing a soft layer of color above lower perennials. Repeating it through a border makes the airy flowers easier to appreciate, especially against a darker background.
