Hetz Wintergreen arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis ‘Hetz Wintergreen’) is an upright evergreen selected for retaining green foliage through winter. It develops a conical form and grows quickly enough to build a substantial screen.
The comparatively narrow outline is useful in rows or as a vertical accent. Plan spacing around the eventual crown width and provide room for its continuing upward growth.
Plant in full sun with moist, well-drained soil. Water consistently during establishment and allow enough room for the natural outline to develop.
