Iron Butterfly Foamflower has deeply cut green leaves with dark maroon markings following the veins. Its vigorous leafy mound brings bold pattern to a shaded planting.
Pale pink buds open into small white spring flowers on upright stems. The flowering stalks rise above the low foliage, adding an airy layer over the richly marked leaves.
Provide partial to full shade and soil rich in organic matter. Maintain even moisture with good drainage.
