Tilia tomentosa Satin Shadow

Satin Shadow Linden

Satin Shadow silver linden, the cultivar Sashazam, has a broad pyramidal crown with symmetrical branching. Dark green leaves reveal silvery undersides when they move in the wind, then turn gold in fall. Fragrant creamy-yellow flowers open in early summer.

Grow in sun or partial shade with well-drained soil. Once established, this selection tolerates dry sites and urban conditions. It provides shade in larger gardens, parks and street plantings.
