Tsuga canadensis Jeddeloh
Jeddelohs Weeping Hemlock
Jeddeloh hemlock makes a low, spreading evergreen mound with a nest-like hollow at its center. Its fine foliage and arching shoots suit a shaded rock garden or a sheltered woodland border.
Its structure combines arching stems and dense branching. Growth is slow. The foliage supplies a year-round framework.
Choose a partly to fully shaded site. Provide acidic, well-drained soil and maintain even moisture. Protect from drying winds and check for hemlock woolly adelgid.
