Chinese Elm, Lacebark Elm
Bosque Lacebark Elm maintains a strong central trunk with branches rising upward into a relatively narrow crown. Its dark, glossy leaves turn yellow and orange in fall.
Mottled bark adds interest when the tree is bare, with gray-brown and gray-orange tones across the trunk. The upright structure can work well in a planned row or as a single shade tree with sufficient rooting space.
Use full sun and preferably fertile, moist soil with good drainage; it adapts to a range of soils and acidity.
