Cayuga viburnum (Viburnum ‘Cayuga’) is a compact-growing hybrid with glossy dark green leaves. Pink buds open into rounded clusters of waxy white flowers with a strong spring fragrance.

Orange-red autumn foliage adds another season of interest. Although young plants can look compact, older shrubs may become considerably larger, so give a specimen or informal hedge enough room to develop.

Grow in sun or partial shade with well-drained soil and regular water during establishment. Prune after flowering if adjustment is needed; established plants tolerate some drought.
