Summer Snowflake Viburnum

Summer Snowflake doublefile viburnum (Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum ‘Summer Snowflake’) carries lacy white flower clusters in rows along its branches. A strong spring display is followed by scattered flowering through summer and sometimes into fall.

The dense, multi-stemmed framework becomes broader than tall. Dark green leaves turn burgundy and bronze-purple in autumn, while fruit production varies with climate and pollination.

Grow in sun or partial shade with well-drained soil and regular water during establishment. If pruning is necessary, do it just after the main flowering season to preserve developing buds.
