Spring Bouquet Viburnum supplies a compact framework of evergreen foliage in mild-climate gardens. Its rounded, upright habit and glossy dark green leaves give a mixed planting structure between the main flower displays.
Pink buds open into white flower clusters in late winter. Metallic blue fruits may follow and darken to black as they mature, adding another small detail to the leafy branches.
Use a sunny or partly shaded position. Its tolerance of shade and salt spray can be useful in a sheltered courtyard or coastal planting. Leave space for a shrub about as wide as it is tall, whether grown individually or repeated as an informal hedge.
