Tango Weigelia

Tango Weigela forms a low, spreading shrub with dark purple-green leaves. Red, funnel-shaped flowers have contrasting yellow throats and appear abundantly in spring.

A lighter second flush may follow in summer. Its compact outline and dark foliage make it useful near the front of a shrub border or alongside lighter-leaved plants.
