Prunus armeniaca 'Puget Gold'

Puget Gold Apricot

Puget Gold apricot was selected for the cool spring conditions of the Pacific Northwest. Its later flowers lead to sweet orange fruit with firm flesh, suitable for eating fresh or making preserves.

Tree size depends on rootstock, pruning, and training. Seasonal ripening dates also vary with the local climate. This cultivar is self-fertile; its published chilling requirement is approximately 600–700 hours.

Plant in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and water during establishment and fruit development. Plan the spacing around the rootstock and intended training system.
