Acer palmatum ‘Burgundy Lace’ is a graceful laceleaf Japanese maple prized for its deep burgundy-red, finely dissected foliage and elegant weeping habit. Leaves emerge rich wine-red in spring, hold dark color well through summer (especially in light shade), and turn brilliant scarlet to crimson in fall.

The finely cut foliage creates a soft, cascading texture as branches arch outward and downward, forming a layered, mounded silhouette. Growth is moderate, with excellent natural form and minimal pruning needed.
