Bambusa phyllostachys ‘Aureosulcata’ (correct botanical name: Phyllostachys aureosulcata) is a vigorous, cold-hardy running bamboo best known for its striking yellow culms with green grooves and strong upright habit. Often called Yellow Groove Bamboo, it provides dramatic vertical structure and year-round evergreen screening.

The plant forms tall, upright canes with narrow green leaves, spreading by underground rhizomes and creating dense groves if left unrestricted.
