The Acer palmatum 'Katsura' is a very attractive deciduous shrub with  foliage, season after season. Emerging golden-orange with pink on the fringe. The katsura is one of the first maples to leaf out in early spring, the fine leaves are small 5 to 7 lobed leaves that will mature to brilliant green in mid summer . Leaves will turn bright shades of orange and yellow in fall.
