Avondale Chinese Redbud

A compact, shrub-like redbud noted for its exceptionally heavy spring bloom of vivid rose-pink flowers that densely cover bare stems before leaf-out. Compared to Cercis canadensis, ‘Avondale’ has a smaller stature, denser branching, and more floriferous habit, making it ideal for courtyards and small gardens. Rounded, heart-shaped green leaves emerge after flowering and turn soft yellow in fall.
