A distinctive and ornamental Hinoki cypress selected for its graceful, irregular branching and deep green, fan-shaped foliage with excellent texture. ‘Wells Special’ tends toward a broad, loosely pyramidal to irregular habit with a slightly open, natural silhouette that adds architectural interest to landscapes without becoming overly dense.
