Developed in Germany, Regina is valued for consistent yields, good disease tolerance, and quality fruit for fresh eating, freezing, or culinary use. When grafted onto semidwarf rootstocks (such as Gisela series), it makes an attractive, manageable tree for smaller yards and home orchards.
