Overview
A graceful pink-bracted Kousa dogwood valued for its soft rose-pink to deep pink bracts that appear in late spring to early summer after leaf-out. Bloom color can deepen in cooler climates and may soften in intense heat. Glossy green foliage remains clean through summer, turning scarlet to burgundy in fall, followed by ornamental red fruit. ‘Satomi’ offers classic pink color with the durability typical of kousa dogwoods.
